Fangchengbao Shark Pickup Submitted for Domestic Production

[New Vehicle Filing] The Fangchengbao Shark pickup has officially entered the MIIT catalog and is scheduled to launch domestically this year.

Core Development: Rugged Plug-in Hybrid Pickup Built on the Same Platform as the Leopard 5

The Fangchengbao Shark is developed on the DMO super hybrid off-road platform, carrying over the design language of the overseas BYD SHARK. It features C-shaped daytime running lights and a贯穿式 light bar at the front, along with the Fangchengbao-exclusive logo on the hood, delivering a bold, mech-inspired aesthetic.

Key Specifications: 1.5L Turbo PHEV + Optional Tow Hitch

It is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged plug-in hybrid system, with the engine delivering a maximum output of 143 kW. An optional towing package is available. The vehicle measures 5,460/1,970/1,920 mm (length/width/height) with a wheelbase of 3,260 mm, positioning it as a crew-cab pickup.

Market Impact: Direct Challenge to Great Wall's Poer

As Fangchengbao’s first pickup truck, the Shark will directly compete with the Great Wall Poer, leveraging its new energy technology and off-road heritage to disrupt the traditional domestic pickup market landscape.
