Starting in 2027, the DPCA Wuhan factory will launch two all-new Peugeot new energy vehicle models, designed based on the Concept 6 LionRay and Concept 8 LiuMing design languages unveiled at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, tailored to meet local market demands while also being exported overseas. Concurrently, the plant will mass-produce two Jeep new energy off-road vehicles, targeting global niche markets.

The project entails a total investment exceeding RMB 8 billion (approximately EUR 1 billion), of which Stellantis Group is contributing EUR 130 million, supported by policy incentives from Hubei Province and Wuhan Municipality.
