Chery and Huawei's Yinwang Deepen Intelligent Driving Collaboration

[Technical Collaboration] Chery and Yinwang, a subsidiary of Huawei, have signed a strategic cooperation agreement on L3/L4-level autonomous driving.

Core Development: Both Parties Focus on Mass Production of Advanced Intelligent Driving

On June 11, Chery and Yinwang Intelligence signed an enhanced strategic cooperation agreement in Wuhu, explicitly advancing technological breakthroughs and mass production applications for conditional Level 3 (L3) autonomous driving and Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving. The event was attended by Chery Chairman Yin Tongyue, Yinwang Chairman Eric Xu (Xu Zhijun), and CEO Jin Yuzhi, highlighting the high strategic importance of this partnership.

Strategic Foundation: Dual-Track Approach Accelerates Intelligent Transformation

Chery is pursuing a dual-track strategy combining in-house development and external collaboration: on one hand, launching its self-developed Falcon Intelligent Driving series (including models 300/500/700); on the other, deeply integrating with Huawei’s Qiankun Intelligent Driving platform. This collaboration aims to achieve compliant, safe, and large-scale deployment of advanced intelligent driving systems during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, securing a leading position in the core arena of intelligent connected vehicles.
