On January 6, 2026, Chery Automobile established Shanghai Zongheng Wujie Automotive Co., Ltd. in Shanghai. The legal representative is Liu Yong, currently Executive Deputy General Manager of Zongheng’s Domestic Marketing Center, who previously led multiple marketing lines for Jetour.

Strategic Foundation: Focused on the Premium Hybrid Off-Road Segment

"Zongheng" is Chery's premium hybrid off-road brand, leveraging the group’s 28 years of technological expertise. It has already built 100 experience stores. Its first model, the G700, has achieved global sales of 8,327 units. The new company is expected to integrate sales and service resources, forming a differentiated portfolio alongside Jetour.

Key Metrics: Exports Drive Record Annual Sales

Chery’s total sales in 2025 reached 2.806 million vehicles, with exports accounting for nearly half, maintaining its position as China’s top vehicle exporter for over 20 consecutive years.
