Chery Automobile Establishes Shanyi Technology to Strengthen AI and Automotive Components R&D

The new company is registered in Jinghu District, Wuhu City, with Hu Chuanlin as its legal representative and Pan Lei as General Manager. Sumida Technology, formerly Chery Spare Parts Company, now operates in coordination with the Spare Parts & Accessories Business Division. Zhang Bingfeng, the legal representative of Sumida, serves as Assistant to the President of Chery, and Wang Hepeng is the Executive Vice General Manager.

🔍 Strategic Foundation: Addressing intelligent technology gaps and building a technical ecosystem

Shanyi Technology’s business covers AI application software development and R&D of automotive and motorcycle components, and will synergize with Chery’s existing Tianqiong Intelligent Computing Center and Xinghai Big Data Platform. In recent years, Chery has established multiple AI-related enterprises, including Moja ZhiChuang Robotics and Che Lizi Technology, accelerating its capabilities in software and intelligent technologies.
