Chery Dismisses Manager Involved in Sexual Harassment Allegations

On March 31, Chery Commercial Vehicles decided to remove Jiang Moumou, the manager involved, from his position and terminate his employment contract in response to a real-name sexual harassment complaint filed by a female employee born in the 2000s. The complaint alleged that Jiang had engaged in prolonged verbal harassment, late-night voice and video calls, locking doors in the office, and inappropriate physical contact. It further claimed that Jiang had a prior record of similar misconduct, which had gone unpunished and was instead followed by three consecutive promotions.

The company emphasized it will follow legal and regulatory procedures in handling subsequent actions and clearly stated it will show no tolerance for such behavior.
