Cadillac Celestiq Launches on April 22

[New Vehicle Launch] Cadillac’s full-size all-electric SUV, the Celestiq, will officially debut on April 22.

Core Innovation: Industry-First In-Cabin Concealed LiDAR

The Celestiq features the industry’s first mass-produced in-cabin concealed LiDAR, with the sensor integrated along the upper edge of the windshield’s interior side, eliminating the traditional roof-mounted protrusion. Built on GM’s Ultium platform, the vehicle adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, measuring 5,222 mm long, 2,026 mm wide, and 1,799 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,094 mm, positioning it as a flagship large all-electric SUV.

Key Specifications: 4-Second Acceleration and 642 km Range

In terms of performance, the dual-motor variant delivers a combined output of 443 kW, enabling a projected 0–100 km/h acceleration time under 4 seconds. It offers three CLTC range options: 573 km, 601 km, and 642 km, and supports fast charging—adding 127 km of range in just 10 minutes. The vehicle also features rear-wheel active steering for enhanced maneuverability in tight spaces.

Strategic Foundation: Premium Experience Tailored for China

The interior is appointed with Fine Nappa semi-aniline leather, hand-stitched detailing, and seats specially calibrated for Chinese users. The second row includes dedicated entertainment screens, rivaling first-class airline cabins. Display vehicles are already in dealerships, and blind pre-orders include a gift of points valued at RMB 10,000.
