BYD Leads Market with May Sales of 383,000 Units

Key Data: Overseas Sales Surge 80.7% Year-over-Year
BYD’s overseas sales reached 160,177 units in May, setting a new monthly export record. Cumulative overseas deliveries from January to May totaled 614,470 units. The Dynasty and Ocean Networks together contributed 330,215 units, while Fangchengbao delivered 30,186 units (up 139.7% YoY), Denza sold 16,303 units, and Yangwang delivered 286 units (up 105.8% YoY).
Strategic Foundation: Intelligent Driving Safety Backstop Strengthens Technological Trust
BYD has launched its "Urban Navigation Safety Backstop" service, making it the world’s first automaker to offer dual safety backstops for both urban navigation and intelligent parking. Under this policy, BYD assumes liability for compensable losses incurred in assisted-driving accidents involving vehicles equipped with the God’s Eye A/B systems—covering both existing and new owners. As of the end of May, BYD had over 3.15 million intelligent driving-enabled vehicles in circulation, with cumulative NEV sales surpassing 16.5 million units.
