BYD Dynasty's Flagship D-Class Sedan 'Da Han' Officially Announced for Q3 Launch

[New Vehicle Launch] BYD has officially released camouflaged photos of its first D-Class flagship sedan under the Dynasty series, named 'Da Han,' with a scheduled launch in the third quarter.

Key Development: Named 'Da Han,' Set for Q3 Debut

On June 8, Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD Dynasty Network Sales Division, unveiled the official camouflaged images, confirming the vehicle’s name as 'Da Han'—a clear winner from the final round of public naming votes. The model will join 'Da Tang' to form the flagship duo of the 'Dynasty Nine Series.'

Key Specifications: Over 1,000 km Range, Nearly 5.3 Meters in Length

The new model will be offered in two LiDAR-equipped variants: an all-wheel-drive version with 800 km range and a rear-wheel-drive version boasting 1,008 km range. It features the God’s Eye 5.0+B LiDAR Edition intelligent driving system. The vehicle is expected to measure close to 5.3 meters in length and have a wheelbase exceeding 3.1 meters, supporting premium features such as ultra-fast charging and rear-wheel steering.

Strategic Foundation: Strengthening Dynasty’s Premium Lineup

As the first D-Class sedan in the Dynasty Network, 'Da Han' continues the 'Dragon Face' design language, adopting a low-slung fastback silhouette and full-width lighting. The interior is likely to carry over the floating center console screen, targeting the luxury executive segment and reinforcing BYD’s high-end product strategy.
