BMW Globally Debuts Three New All-Electric Models

[New Model Launch] At its Brand Night event, BMW globally unveiled the long-wheelbase iX3, long-wheelbase i3, and the all-new fully electric 7 Series.

Core Development: Long-Wheelbase iX3 Exclusively Tailored for China

The long-wheelbase iX3 features a wheelbase of 3,005 mm, extended by 108 mm compared to the standard version—all dedicated to enhancing rear passenger space. The rear seat cushion is lengthened, and the backrest reclines up to 121°, significantly boosting comfort.

Key Specifications: 800V Architecture + Over 900 km Range

Built on BMW’s Neue Klasse next-generation platform, the new models adopt an 800V high-voltage architecture, delivering a CLTC range exceeding 900 km. They are powered by an electric motor producing 469 hp, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, with peak torque reaching 645 N·m.

Strategic Foundation: Accelerating BMW's EV Push in China

Through China-specific wheelbase extensions and intelligent upgrades—including Panoramic iDrive and advanced driver-assistance systems—BMW directly targets competitors like the Model Y and YU7, reinforcing its position in China’s premium all-electric vehicle segment.
