Key Metrics: Geely and Chery Show Strong Growth, New EV Players Diverge Sharply
Chery sold 251,386 units, surging 53.0% month-over-month; Geely sold 235,164 units, with new energy vehicles (NEVs) accounting for nearly 58% of its volume. Its premium EV brand Zeekr delivered 31,787 units, a 132% year-over-year increase. Among new EV makers, Leapmotor delivered 71,387 units (+73.9% YoY), Xiaomi Auto exceeded 30,000 units, while XPeng saw a 11.51% year-over-year decline.
