On May 11, BYD introduced the 2026 Seagull, maintaining its official price range of RMB 69,900 to RMB 85,900. The 305km Freedom Edition and 405km Soaring Edition now offer LiDAR as an optional upgrade, priced at RMB 90,900 and RMB 97,900 respectively after configuration—marking the first time urban navigation-assist driving capabilities have been brought to A00-class vehicles.
